Mexico police in Puebla arrest gang suspect who had tiger “guarding” his home (News)


PUEBLA, Mexico — Mexican army and police forces detained a suspected chief of a fuel-stealing gang, together with a tiger “guarding” his home, weapons and medicines, authorities mentioned. “We carried out two searches, seized firearms, medicine, radio communication gear and a tiger guarding the home,” Jesus Morales, safety secretary of the state of Puebla, east-central Mexico, mentioned Thursday.

Authorities accuse the unidentified suspect of being “one of many necessary leaders of a gang devoted to gasoline theft, taking gasoline from the city of San Martin Texmelucan, which generates violence.”
